Watch to Earn Modes

PGC video watching mode:

Under the PGC video watching mode, users are equipped with VSFT and earn tokens by searching and watching videos on various video platforms (note that users can search for videos on the daily viewing platforms instead of watching mandatory advertising spam). It requires energy to earn the MetaVision Income Token ( VIT ). Users start to get this energy after acquiring each VSFT. First, users should select VSFT and press the Start button. Users should observe whether they are currently in profitable video viewing mode within the system. Ensure there is enough energy to get VIT rewards while watching videos effectively. Of course, MetaVision is the video portal of WEB3, and the video watching experience we provide is greater than or equal to traditional WEB2 providers. Thus, we also encourage users to continue to use MetaVision to meet their daily video needs even when their energy is exhausted. For users who use MetaVision as a video viewing portal, MetaVision will give extra bonus rewards. You will earn VIT or VGT for every minute of watching under PGC mode, depending on three main factors:

VSFT Quality - Basic VIT rewards vary for each VSFT. Please refer to the VSFT Quality section for more detail.

VSFT Efficiency - The higher the efficiency, the more VIT users can earn per minute. Users can only earn VIT from level 0 to level 27. At level 28, users can earn both VIT and VGT. Note, however, that going from level 28 to level 30 requires the coordinated participation of VGT. The higher the efficiency, the more VIT/VGT tokens can be earned than the less efficient VSFT of the same level.

VSFT Level - The higher the level, the more VIT/VGT users earn per minute.

Once the energy is exhausted, users will stop earning tokens. They can choose to continue their video viewing or opt-out.

Treasure Box:

A treasure box is a loot box that drops randomly when users are in PGC video watching mode. Each user has 4 treasure box slots. Treasure Box has the same 5 quality types as VSFT. After receiving the treasure box, you need to wait to open the box, and the countdown will start automatically. After the countdown is over, the treasure box is ready to be opened. Treasure Box countdown duration increases proportionally to its rarity. Inside each treasure box, it contains a random amount of MetaVision tokens and gems (Lv1 – Lv3 only), buff cards (double the revenue, double the luck value, etc.), double airdrop cards and a few badges. Treasure box probability determines whether a treasure box will drop: the chance will be an additional income binding.

UGC and Live video watching mode (in development)

Users can choose to create videos on MetaVision to earn additional VRT tokens. VRT tokens are non-chain tokens only within MetaVision system, and all users (including creators and viewers) can claim VRT through daily check-in. VRT tokens can be obtained through daily check-in or swapped by VIT with a certain proportion. VRT can be used to tip the creator's video. VRT tokens obtained by creators through the reward given by viewers can be directly converted into digital stablecoins (such as USDT, etc., and the rewards are directly obtained from the MetaVision creation reward treasury system), and the number of VRT tokens determines the conversion ratio received as well as the amount of 'like' given by viewers.

Creator reward mode

In creator reward mode, users need to register as creators and submit videos simultaneously (the creator can only submit one piece of work at a time). There are weekly and monthly competitions for gaining creator rewards, and the winner will receive a corresponding amount of VIT rewards.

Registration fee for creators

In order to ensure that creators participate in the competition, creators must pay the registration fee in the form of VIT+BUSD. The registration fee will be refunded if a sufficient amount of reward token VRT is tipped by viewers to the certain video; if the creator cannot obtain enough reward token VRT within the competition time, their registration fee will be aggregated and counted into the competition reward pool.

Winner Rewards and Participation Rewards

The top creators in the leaderboard will receive VGT rewards (note: VRT rewards tipped by viewers can be exchanged for VIT according to the rules above, while the VGT reward is an extra bonus). These additional rewards come from the registration paid by creators who fail to receive the minimum creators' tips.
